Tala has been making British kitchen classics since 1899, and this soft buttery yellow is pure happiness on the bench. It's made in Portugal from chip resistant stoneware, with an embossed corn pattern that looks gorgeous and gives you something to hold onto while you mix. The wide rim makes it easy to cover with a tea towel or wrap while your dough proves.

Line it up with the pale blue and dusty pink and you've got yourself a SET.

Perfect for

• Cake batters and cookie dough.
• Proving bread and pizza dough.
• Tossing a big summer salad.
• Serving popcorn on movie night.
• Sitting pretty on an open shelf when it's not working.
