The name 'koala' is said to come from a Dharug word meaning 'no water' referring to the fact that koalas very rarely drink from free standing water, hydration coming from their diet of eucalyptus leaves and licking rainwater off bark. I like to think they would enjoy a nice pot of tea though… possibly a pot of eucalyptus tea?
